The new Pride Go Go Elite Traveller Gen 3 builds on the popular Elite Traveller 2 with more legroom, a redesigned deck, pathway lighting, improved clearance, and updated styling. Here is a closer look at what changed, what stayed the same, and what makes the Gen 3 the next generation of Pride's compact travel scooter.
The New and Improved Generation
The Pride Go Go Elite Traveller Gen 3 takes the proven design of the Elite Traveller 2 and moves it forward with a redesigned platform focused on more rider space, improved comfort, better everyday usability, and updated styling.
Pride kept many of the features that made the Elite Traveller series popular, including a 300 lb. weight capacity, EZ Turn Technology, Feather Touch disassembly, four wheel stability, and a compact 19.45 inch width.
The big difference is what Pride added around those features.
The Gen 3 introduces a completely redesigned sloped deck with more legroom and foot positioning options, increased passthrough space, front and rear pathway lights, improved under deck clearance, slightly increased published driving range, and updated styling and color choices.
For shoppers familiar with the Elite Traveller 2, the Gen 3 feels familiar where it should, but more refined where it matters.

The Biggest Gen 3 Improvement: More Legroom
The biggest change to the Elite Traveller Gen 3 is also one riders are likely to notice immediately.
Pride redesigned the deck to provide more legroom, increased passthrough space, and more flexibility in where you place your feet.
Compact travel scooters need to remain small enough for indoor maneuvering and vehicle transportation, which can sometimes make the rider area feel confined. The new Gen 3 deck addresses that without making the scooter wider.
The deck combines a flat center section with sloped areas near the front wheels. Riders can keep their feet on the traditional flat deck or position them farther forward along the sloped sections, giving them more freedom to find a comfortable position during longer rides.
The deck also uses an easy to clean textured surface for added traction. It is not simply a styling change. Pride redesigned the actual space available to the rider.

More Rider Space Without Making the Scooter Wider
One of the most impressive parts of the Gen 3 redesign is that Pride created additional rider space while maintaining a compact 19.45 inch overall width.
The Gen 3 measures approximately 41.5 inches long, with the additional length helping create the new, more spacious riding position.
Keeping the scooter narrow is especially important for a travel model that may regularly be used through doorways, stores, restaurants, hallways, and other indoor environments. The result is more usable rider space with the narrow profile expected from the Elite Traveller series.
New Front and Rear Pathway Lights
The Gen 3 also adds front and rear pathway lighting, an important everyday upgrade for riders who use their scooter in parking lots, garages, hallways, sidewalks, or other areas with lower lighting.
The lights help illuminate the area around the scooter and increase its visibility when conditions become darker. Combined with the redesigned deck and updated body styling, they also give the Gen 3 a noticeably more modern appearance.
EZ Turn Technology Continues on the Gen 3
Pride carried its EZ Turn Technology into the new generation. EZ Turn is designed to provide the stability of a four wheel mobility scooter while still allowing it to maneuver through tight indoor environments.
The Gen 3 has a published 39.2 inch turning radius, making it very maneuverable for a four wheel travel scooter. That matters for riders who want four wheel stability but still need to navigate stores, restaurants, hallways, doorways, and other confined spaces. Deciding between three and four wheels? Improved Published Driving Range
The Gen 3 also receives a small increase in Pride's published driving range. At a rider weight of 220 lbs., Pride rates the Gen 3 for:
- 12Ah battery: Up to 8.9 miles (Elite Traveller 2: up to 8.8 miles)
- 18Ah battery: Up to 14.1 miles (Elite Traveller 2: up to 13.8 miles)
The improvement is modest, but it continues the theme of the Gen 3: Pride retained the basic Elite Traveller formula while making refinements throughout the scooter.
Actual range will vary based on rider weight, terrain, temperature, battery condition, driving habits, and other conditions. Learn more in Mobility Scooter Range Explained.
More Clearance Beneath the Deck
The redesigned Gen 3 platform provides 3.5 inches of clearance beneath the deck, compared with approximately 3.15 inches at the mid deck on the Elite Traveller 2. That added space can be useful when traveling over everyday surface transitions. (Not sure how much you need? Read How Much Ground Clearance Does a Mobility Scooter Really Need?)
The Elite Traveller Gen 3 is still a compact travel scooter and should not be confused with Pride's larger all terrain models, but the increased clearance is another useful improvement.
Five Piece Feather Touch Disassembly
Pride kept one of the most important features of the Elite Traveller series, Feather Touch disassembly. The Gen 3 separates into five pieces for transportation and storage: the seat, battery pack, basket, rear section, and front section.
The Gen 3 weighs approximately 83.6 lbs. without batteries, with the heaviest disassembled section weighing approximately 36.2 lbs. That makes it a true travel scooter despite the additional rider space and new features. Planning to fly? See our guide to the best mobility scooters for airline travel.
Familiar Seating With a Better Riding Position
The Gen 3 uses a 17 x 17 inch foldable black vinyl seat with a breathable mesh back. Rather than dramatically changing the seat itself, Pride improved the space surrounding the rider. (See How to Choose the Right Mobility Scooter Seat Size.)
The redesigned deck lets riders use more of the area in front of the seat, providing additional options for positioning their legs and feet. For many riders, that can make a compact scooter feel considerably more comfortable without moving up to a wider or heavier model.
Updated Styling and More Color Choices
The Elite Traveller Gen 3 also receives an updated appearance that helps distinguish it as the newest generation. Cardinal Red is the standard shroud color, with additional shroud options including:
- Black
- Iceberg Blue
- Robin's Egg Blue
- Sugar Plum
- Chell o
The removable shroud design also lets owners change the scooter's look. Combined with the pathway lights and redesigned deck, the Gen 3 has a cleaner, more modern look while remaining instantly recognizable as part of Pride's Go Go family.
The Best Features of the Elite Traveller Continue
Pride did not abandon the features that already worked well. The Gen 3 continues to offer:
- 300 lb. weight capacity (why you should not buy right at the limit)
- Up to 4.23 mph top speed
- EZ Turn Technology
- Four wheel stability
- Feather Touch disassembly
- Five piece portable design
- 17 x 17 inch mesh back seat
- Angle adjustable Delta tiller
- Built in tiller charging port
- 12Ah standard battery
- 18Ah battery option
- Flat free, non scuffing tires
- Rear wheel drive
- Regenerative and electromechanical braking
- Large front basket
Instead of starting over, Pride built on the established Elite Traveller platform and concentrated the Gen 3 changes on rider comfort and everyday convenience.
